(hereinafter: Data Controller) processes the data of visitors to the website www.abrahamlawyers.eu (hereinafter: Website), registered users using the Website and users of services available on the Website (hereinafter collectively referred to as: Data Subject).

In connection with data processing, the Data Controller hereby informs the Data Subjects about the personal data it processes on the Website, the principles and practices followed in relation to the processing of personal data, as well as the methods and possibilities for exercising the rights of the Data Subjects. By using the Website, the Data Subject accepts the provisions of this Privacy Policy and consents to the data processing described below.

  8. Data Processor: a natural or legal person, or organization without legal personality, who processes data on the basis of a contract with the Data Controller;
  9. Data transfer: making data accessible to a specified third party;
  10. Disclosure: making data accessible to anyone;
  11. Data deletion: rendering data unrecognizable in such a way that its restoration is no longer possible;
  12. Data restriction: marking data with an identifier to limit its further processing permanently or for a specified period;
  13. Data destruction: complete physical destruction of the data carrier containing the data;
  14. Third party: any natural or legal person, or organization without legal personality, other than the Data Subject, the Data Controller or the Data Processor.

2. Purpose of data processing

The Data Controller stores and processes the data provided by the Data Subject during registration strictly for specific purposes, exclusively for providing services available on the Website, maintaining contact, identifying users, and – if the Data Subject subscribes to a newsletter – sending newsletters. Automatically recorded data is used for statistical purposes and technical development of the IT system. The Data Controller does not use personal data for purposes other than those defined above.

Personal data may only be disclosed to third parties or authorities with the prior explicit consent of the Data Subject, unless otherwise required by law. In all cases where the Data Controller intends to use the data for purposes other than the original purpose of collection, the Data Subject will be informed and their prior explicit consent will be obtained, and they will be given the opportunity to object.

3. Legal basis for data processing

Data processing by the Data Controller is based on the voluntary consent of the Data Subject pursuant to Act CXII of 2011 on informational self-determination and freedom of information (Info.tv.) Section 5 (1) a), as well as Act CVIII of 2001 on electronic commerce services and certain issues of information society services.

The Data Controller does not verify the accuracy of the personal data provided. The person providing the data is solely responsible for its accuracy. By providing an email address, any Data Subject also assumes responsibility that only they use services from that email address. Any liability related to logins using a given email address lies solely with the Data Subject who provided it.

5. Duration of data processing

5.1. Registration data
Personal data provided during registration is processed until the Data Subject requests deletion. Deletion can be requested at any time via post or email. Data will be deleted within 5 working days of receiving the request.

5.2. Newsletter data
Newsletter data is processed until the Data Subject unsubscribes via the “Unsubscribe” link or requests removal via email or post. Otherwise, data is stored for up to 2 years.

5.3. Technical data
Logged data is stored for 2 years from the time of logging, except for the date of last visit which is automatically overwritten.

5.4. Contact form data
Personal data provided via contact forms is processed until deletion is requested. Data is deleted within 5 working days.

Name, Phone number, Email, Company name, Billing address, Shipping address

6.2. Newsletter
Email address and full name

6.3. Technical data
IP address, browser type, visited pages, timestamps, etc.

6.4. Cookies
The Data Controller uses session and persistent cookies, as well as security cookies and password-protected session cookies.

8. User rights

Data Subjects may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of their data, and may object to processing. Complaints can be submitted to the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH) or to court.

Email addresses are used primarily for identification and communication related to services.

10. Data security

The Data Controller ensures appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction.

11. Miscellaneous provisions

The Data Controller reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy with prior notice on the Website. Continued use of the Website implies acceptance of the modified terms.
